The Governing Body of Low Furness CE Primary School has adopted Cumbria Education Service General Admissions Policy for 2016 /2017. For further information please refer to the Admissions Policy. Low Furness CE Primary School caters for children between the ages of 3 and 11. Nursery children are admitted three times a year in the term following their third birthday.

Other Children are admitted once a year, in September. Most children attending the school live in the catchment area, though some travel from further afield. If you choose to join us then we hope that your child’s stay here will be both enjoyable and profitable. This website has been designed to give you a brief background of our school, our children, our staff and our school family. Each year the Governors of the school have to agree a maximum number of children to be admitted.

Our current published admission number is seventeen. In the event that this number is reached, the County Admissions Policy will be used to allocate places.

All children, including children with disabilities and/or additional needs, are welcome at Low Furness provided that we can properly cater for their individual needs. There is a ramped access to the school and toilet facilities for the disabled.
