Rushbearing Queen

Many congratulations to the lovely Mia Neild who recently became Rushbearing Qeen at a slightly different, socially distanced celebration this year. Many thanks to the retiring Queen, Daisy O'Keeffe and her mum who came along to formally hand over the crown. Well done Mrs Troughton for keeping such a lovely local tradition going under difficult and trying circumstances.

Welcome back !

Children and staff alike are all really happy to be back together after so long apart. Welcome back Team Low Furness.

Our amazing Senior Leadership Team

The Governors would like to thank our Senior Leadership Team for all the hardwork and effort they have put into not only keeping the school open over lockdown but for making the school a hub for the local community during the pie and peas delivery service run by our amazing school cook, Anne Davies. Well done ladies .

St.Mary's Hospice coast to coast fundraiser

Because we can't complete our usual sports day we have decided to do a sponsored walk. All members of our school will be walking or running as individuals. We will add our mileage together and hopefully walk from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay. If we walk far enough we might even get back home again !! We know St Mary's Hospice are missing out on fundraising at the moment and we would like to help out in some small way. Ifd you would like to donate please visit Justgiving.com and search for Low Furness Virtual Coast to Coast
