School Council treat baskets for St Mary's Hospice

Mrs Stubbs had the pleasure of taking three representatives from School Council to present two treat baskets to the volunteers at At Mary's Hospice. The baskets were very well received,Anne Atkinson, head of fundraising for the Hospice was very touched by the gesture, especially with the handwritten messages of thanks attached to each bag containing tea or coffee, milk and a biscuit.

Young Voices in Manchester

A group of our KS2 children attended Young Voices at Manchester Arena and had a fantastic time singing along with Tony Hadley ofSpandau Ballet fame !!

Travelling by Tuba

We were visited this week by travelling by Tuba, an interactive musical experience for the whole school.We even produced music by blowing through a hose pipe !! A huge thank you to the Friends of Low Furness for funding this, we all had a fantastic day.
